5 Top Indie Games To Come #Indiegamer #gamedesign

This is just an edit on the original post…. I must have been having a mad Sunday!

Here is a small list of Indie Games that I felt the need to share, as I just love all Indie games and feel like one of the gaming disciples who has been sent here to spread all of the IndieDev and IndieGame news to the world.

Ghoulish Hijinksgoulish-hijinks-indiegame

You are a cute little witchy-woo called Genevieve, this cute little platformer looks so good you could be forgiven for taking a bite outta the 4K television that you and 99% of us don’t yet have.

The game is FREE on Windows and can be downloaded at the below links.

Here is the official word from enchantainment.com

“Take control of the witch Genevieve, in this arcade style platform game. Collect ingredients to make different potions to help you out and earn points. Unlock and play multiple different levels, each with unique settings, tricky level events, and ghoulish enemies! Try and earn a high score!”

It is even on the app store now: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/ghoulish-hijinks/id721754328?ls=1&mt=8

This crazy little point & click adventure game reminds me of Metal Gear on the NES, when commercial games were a true labour of love (I know you guys at Uncharted put your entire soul into an amazing game, but this is indiedev not 10-million-dollars-dev)

Word from the indie game studios

“Dustbowl is a post apocalyptic survival point’n’click, a kind of 2D STALKER with a retro look

Grapple Force Rena

This is a game that instantly reminded me of the old Batman on Commodore 64 with the cooler than school grapple hook and also has a blend of classic Pang graphics, I just love it.  They are still on Kickstarter if you fancied giving some support:

Hive Jump

Hive Jump | Sci-fi Shooter from Graphite Lab
Hive Jump Indie Game

Another indie game from Kickstarter but is soo retro cool it makes me all a quiver. Brilliantly designed and again captures that time when games used to seep into our souls. Very Contra from the SNES and MegaDrive, let us hope that this one makes all of their goals. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/graphitelab/hive-jump-0

Game website: www.hivejump.com

Game Twitter: https://twitter.com/Hivejump

The word from their website:

“Hive Jump is one part Spelunky, one part XCOM, and all parts alien ass-kicking. You and your friends assume the role of JUMPERS, and blast your way through subterranean alien hives in run-and-gun 2D platforming action. Kill aliens, avoid traps, collect resources, and defeat the hive queen lurking at”

Solar Flux

This visually stunning indie game is just amazing, you are saving suns and planets and doing all kindsa god-like stuff.  Take great pleasure in playing the biggest game of snooker you have ever played!

Game website: http://www.solarfluxgame.com

Game Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/solarfluxgame

The official word:

“Solar Flux is a unique space puzzle game. Travel across the universe and save dying suns from extinction by collecting and delivering fragments of plasma, while carefully navigating around the various pitfalls in each Galaxy. Available now for iPad, PC, Android and iPhone!”

So that is it for this moment in time, please like this if you do, maybe even share it with ya IndieDev mates?

Cheers, RRB
